Aug 9, 2012 – Wanda L. Gorny (nee Malek), 89, of Berkeley Heights, on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the HCR Manor-Care in Easton, Pa.
Wanda worked in quality control for C.R. Bard in New Providence, for 26 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Berkeley Heights Senior Citizens Club.
Born in Newark, she resided in Nutley before moving to Berkeley Heights 60 years ago.
The wife of the late Marion R. Gorny, she is survived by two sons, Donald Gorny and his wife, Maureen, of Berkeley Heights, and Kenneth Gorny and his wife, Elizabeth, of Basking Ridge; three grandchildren, Alexis Roof and Evan and Olivia Gorny, and four great-grandchildren, Jade, Nicholas, Mia, and Leyla.
Visitation 6-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial Home, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights. Service 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral homefollowed by the burial in St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit
