Aug 7, 2012 – Giorgio Crocco, 69, of Nutley, on Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. Born in Acri, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy, he immigrated in 1966 and lived in Belleville and Nutley.
Mr. Crocco retired as a mason.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Crocco; four children, John Crocco and his wife, Theresa; Angelo and Maria Crocco, and Giuseppe Maiorano-Crocco; a sister, Gina Gencarelli; a brother, Giuseppe Crocco, and several other sisters and brothers in Italy. He also leaves two grandchildren, Olivia Grace and Giovanni and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Bombina Gabriele and two brothers, Egidio and Angelo.
Visiting at the S. W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, www.swbrownandson.com, 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral 8:30 a.m. Monday with a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave., Nutley. Interment follows at the East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.
