Jul 29, 2012 – Michael Ciriello, 88, on Friday, July 27, 2012, at his Belleville home. Mr. Ciriello was a Eucharistic minister and altar server at Nutley's Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Born and raised in Newark, Mr. Ciriello moved to Belleville over 40 years ago. Before his retirement he was a route man for Ward Bakery, Newark. Mr. Ciriello was a member of the Branch Brook Seniors Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Carragher) Gilroy Ciriello; four children, Frank Ciriello and his wife, Patty, Michael Ciriello Jr., Mary Pogue and her husband, Glen, and Michael Gilroy and his wife, Berlinda; six grandchildren, Michelle, Amanda and Christina Ciriello, Glen II, Sean and Brendan Pogue, and two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Isaac.
Visiting at the S. W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, www.swbrownandson.com, 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday with a 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 120 Prospect St., Nutley. Interment at the Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, would be appreciated.
