Jun 18, 2012 – Carol M. (Miller) Cook, 74 of Nutley, on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Columbus LTACH in, Newark. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided Belleville before settling in Nutley 40 years ago. Miss. Cook was a realtor with Century 21 Award Agency in Nutley.
A 1956 graduate of Belleville High School, she worked in real estate at various agencies in Essex County for 25 years and had previously been employed as a legal secretary. She had a great love for animals, especially cats.
She was predeceased by her parents, J. Kenneth Miller and Caroline (Steinbuch) Miller. She leaves several devoted and supportive friends.
Visiting at the S. W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, www.swbrownandson.com, 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday followed by burial at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
