Sal Rosamilia Elected Rotary President
• Selects 'Wounded Warriors' for Financial Support
Jun 15, 2012 – The Rotary Club of Nutley elected Salvatore Rosamilia as its president for 2012-2013 during installation ceremonies Tuesday at the Nanina's in the Park restaurant.
The ceremonies also included commendations to retiring Rotrary president Barbary Hirsch for "her outstanding work during the past year."
Each incoming president selects a special charity for his term of office and Rosamilia this week chose the Wounded Warriors Project to be added to Rotary's other worthwhile programs to be financially supported during his year-long reign.
The mission of the Wounded Warriors Project is to honor and empower America's wounded warriors. The goal is to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist one another and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
