Jun 15, 2012 – Anthony P. Bissell, 90, of Nutley, on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. Born and raised in Belleville, he had been a resident of Nutley for the past 51 years.
He was employed by the Penick Corp. in Lyndhurst for 43 years before
retiring. Mr. Bissell was a member of the Tuesday and Wednesday Essex County Senior Citizen Clubs and also of the Nutley Old Guard and the Nutley Senior Social Club.
Predeceased by his wife Florence (Gelormine, he is survived by two daughters Patricia Prentice and her husband Chuck, and Debbie Bissell; two grandchildren, Christine and David Prentice, and his companion Mary Ann Carissimo.
Visiting at the S. W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, www.swbrownandson.com, 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave., Nutley. Private cremation will follow with interment of urn at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
