May 30, 2012 – Casper Borraggine, 101, of Nutley, and formerly of Bloomfield, on Monday, May 28, 2012. Born in Newark and a resident of Bloomfield for 30 years before moving to Nutley, he was a maintenance foreman for Wilcolater in Elizabeth for 27 years before retiring.
Mr. Borraggine was predeceased by his wife, Lena (Sirianni) Borraggine; a brother, Louis Borraggine; three sisters, Mary Aquilina, Eleanor Melito and Lucy Neri, and his son-in-law, James McGinnis.
Mr. Borraggine was the father of Grace McGinnis; Joan Rubino, the husband Dr. Dominick Rubino, and John Borraggine and his wife Alana. Also surviving are two sisters, Phyllis Montefusco and Carmella Santucci, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services 9:15 a.m. Saturday from the www.biondifuneralhome.com, 540 Franklin Ave., Nutley, with a 10:30 a.m. funeral mass at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave., Nutley. Entombment at the Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Visiting 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
