Rogers' Office Will Open Saturdays AM
• 'Meet the Commissioner Day' - No Appt. Needed
May 21, 2012 – Nutley Public Affairs Commissioner Steven Rogers announced today that his office will be open every Saturday, beginning this week, between 8:30am to 12 noon for Nutley residents to meet him personally for the purpose of discussing any issue of their concern.
" Saturdays are going to be "Meet the Commissioner Day" at the Department of Public Affairs, says Rogers, who is a strong advocate of friendly and accessible government. "You will not need an appointment. Just walk through the door and join me for a cup of coffee and conversation."
Rogers says his first week on the job has been "educational."
"I have a great staff. I immediately observed their dedication, commitment, and most importantly, their passion to serve the people of Nutley. As a team we are going to do great things for our township," says Rogers.
