Joseph G. Liquori, 78; U.S. Army Veteran

•  Machinist and Later a Starter at Hendrick's Field

 – Joseph G. Liquori, 78, of Nutley, on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. Born in Long Branch, he resided in Newark before coming to Nutley in 1953.

Mr. Liquori was a machinist with Wallace & Tiernan Inc. in Belleville and was a U.S Army veteran. After his retirement, he was a starter at Hendricks Field Golf Course in Belleville.

He is survived by his of wife of 53 years, Mary Grace (Palumbo) Liguori, three children, Anthony Liquori, Concetta, (Tina) Cirelli and her husband, Michael, and Antoinette (Toni) Liquori, and a granddaughter, Mary Grace Liquori.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday at 9 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley, at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
