Little League Tryouts Sunday, Jan. 29 At Parks Dept.
• For Nutley Residents Aged 5-12 Years
Jan 13, 2012 – The Nutley American and Nutley East Little Leagues will be conducting registration for the upcoming 2012 season on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 12 noon until 2:30 p.m. pm at the Parks and Recreation Building, 44 Park Ave. Registration is open to all youngsters residing in Nutley between the league age of 5 and 12 years. Birth date must fall between May 1, 1999 and April 30, 2007).
All 5-year-olds must be in kindergarten. The American League encompasses the area of Nutley from and including Prospect St. and everything to the west. The Nutley East encompasses the east side of Nutley up to but not including Prospect St.
Registration fee for the 2012 season is $85 for one child, $135 for two children, and $185 for three children.
Checks must be made payable to the respective league.
Tryouts for both leagues will be conducted separately on Sunday, Feb. 26. The Nutley American Little League will be scheduled from 12:30-3 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation gym. The Nutley East Little League tryouts will follow from 3 until 5:30 p.m.
