Artwork of Donna Ellis Displayed
• Award Winning Artist of West Caldwell
Nov 20, 2011 – The artwork of Donna Ellis will be on display at the Nutley Free Public Library Wednesday, Nov. 30. November. The exhibit features elegant watercolor designs Ms. Ellis mastered while working as a draftswoman, illustrator and teacher.
Her formal training included being graduated cum laude with a Fine Arts degree from William Paterson College as well as studying under Mark De Mos of Morristown.
Currently, Ms. Ellis is affiliated with the Livingston and West Essex Arts Associations and is an associate member of the Essex Watercolor Club.
She was awarded the Gold Ribbon District Grand Prize for Watercolor Still Life and has received four first place awards in similar categories.
Her art was presented at the West Caldwell and Montclair Libraries where she was recognized on the front page of the Montclair Times Art section. Ellis strives to create new masterpieces in her hometown of West Caldwell where she resides with her husband and two daughters.
