Jun 4, 2010 – The weather was perfect as large numbers of Nutley citizens were joined by folks from neighboring towns to celebrate Memorial Day 2010 with a grand parade down Franklin Avenue. The march followed morning ceremonies conducted by the Nutley Veterans' Council and a Memorial Day program on Tangorra Field at the Nutley Park Oval.

There are separate news articles on the morning's visits by members of the Nutley Veterans Council who visited all the war memorials throughout the community. Prayers were offered and the names of the men and women who served in America's wars were read aloud.
