15,000 Stuffed Cupcakes
To Sunday Benefit
May 8, 2010 – "The Stuffed Cupcake Place" in Nutley is making big news today. A new customer by the name of Oprah Wnfrey has ordered 15,000 homemade cupcakes for a high-profile charity event in Manhattan tomorrow. Winfrey aldong with Bette Midler and singer Mary J.Blinge will walk with other celebrities from Pier 86 to Times Square handing out cupcakes along the way.
Jaret and Keith, owners of the popular Nutley spot,say the Manhattan eventwill benefit 10 different charities. The Star-Ledger today reports the Nutley couple, up nearly all night stuffing cupcakes, is donating their creations free of charge.
