'Best Pizza in Town' Annual Contest Sunday, April 11

Apr 11, 2010 – Nutley's annual vote for "The Best Pizza in Town" takes place Sunday, April 25, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Dept., 44 Park Avenue. The year marks the 14th year this event has been sponsored by the Nutley Jaycees and the League of Women Voters.
As of today (April 11), eleven pizzerias had signed up for the competition. Proceeds benefit the Jaycees' scholarship fund.
Tickets are $5 in advance, $6 at the door and youngsters under the age of fix are fee. Beverages along with slices of pizza are included.
Judges this year include voting by the public, judges from the Nutrition Food Science and Dietetics Dept.at Montclair State University, the owners of Pizzaland in Lyndhurst and Cambiotti's Tomato oPie Cafe in Landing and the chef from the N.J. Community Food Bank in Hillside.
