Louis DeMunno, 73
• New Jersey Transit Retiree,
Feb 7, 2010 – Louis DeMunno, 73, of Nutley, on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. He was a retired driving instructor for N.J. Transit for many years in Newark and Maplewood.
An Army veteran, Mr. DeMunno was a member of the Lyndhurst Amvets Post.
The son son of the late Louis and Lillian DeMunno, he is survived by his aunts, Katherine Martino and Carmella Gesualdo; five cousins, Gerald and his wife, Geraldine DeMunno, Lucille and Nancy Bottignoli, and Toni Ann and her husband, Jonathan Bassi; and great-cousin to Anthony Bassi.
Services 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville, with a 10 a.m. Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Newark. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Monday from 1 to 5 p.m.
