In celebration of the 183rd Anniversary of the Church, there will be a time of recogniton for all of the churche's 50-year members. The Chancel Choir will sing and the Wesley Ringers will play. Rev. LeDuc will share a children's sermon, give the homily "Journal On!"and lead in the Service of Confirmation, as five youth make their profession of faith in Jesus Christ and become members of the church. Habitat for Humanity Tool DriveHabitat Newark is growing and building more low income homes in more locations than ever before. To accomplish their goals Habitat needs more tools and supplies. Coins for KatangaDuring May, the children of Vincent Church will be collecting coins to support the purchase of a new plane for "Wings of the Morning." For many years "Wings of the Morning" has transported people with life-threatening injuries or illnesses from rural areas by plane to hospitals for free.
The Katanga region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has very few good roads and many lives have been saved by this aviation ministry. The new plane will run on regular gas and be able to transport more people for less cost. Donations of any kind can be made to the Church Office from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on weekdays.
